The new office of Orange Romania relocated to Tandem building, a newly delivered project from Forte Partners on 5 Matei Millo Street, where Orange occupies the entire office area of more than 16.000 sqm.
The Tandem building belongs to Sector Zero, a premium initiative in the office real estate category belonging to Forte Partners, which is dedicated to creative communities integrated in the surrounding central area.
CBRE managed the new Orange office design and change process with a team of dedicated interior architects that identified the specific requirements and developed architectural solutions adapted to the way Orange works.
The architectural solutions are designed around the different specific work requirements from the complex business structure of Orange and allow a new and modern way to use an office. We started with the Learning Center, a multi-use space placed in the GF, that is a destination for a variety of activities from training sessions, team meetings to large conferences and gatherings. On all floors, we alternated the desk areas with meeting facilities, for both formal and informal moments, in open and closed spaces, creating an array of amenities that can be accessed based on specific needs. Whether is a client meeting, a team gathering or a solitary focus moment, all floors provide an extensive range of spaces and architectural options to meet any requirement in a suitable way. Among the special architectural interventions there are dedicated areas with an increased flexibility for a larger spectrum of actions like podcasting, live TV broadcasting, wellbeing quiet sessions or yoga. Other areas reach a high flexibility usage with specially designed furniture elements: curtains for space separation, gradenas for larger attendances, a variety of seating options that can be easily placed in any desired setup that suits certain interaction types.

Among the ESG elements, we designed all areas using natural materials carefully balancing the carbon footprint of new features with the existing ones that were repurposed. The social elements revolve around employee’s wellbeing, our design included wind-out areas, relaxation zones, cafeterias, yoga, greenery, ergonomics and other architectural and technical features dedicated to increase the overall comfort of office use.
Orange offices design was a creative and technical process that required a strong expertise from all parties involved. The result is a solid hybrid office architecture, efficient and flexible with embedded ESG features that transformed an office into a remarkable headquarter for the industry leader.
