Selfdezign – French Quarter Apartment

The design strategy was to connect spaces and unify materials and textures to bring stylistic coherence. In the original formula, the materials varied according to the zones and uses, which generated a fragmented aspect of the space.

“The process followed 4 directions: amplifying the potential of the living area – where the family spends most of its time, optimizing the storage space, transforming a bedroom into an office and reconfiguring the bathrooms to increase functionality. Artificial lighting solutions
compensate for the insufficiency of natural light.”

The new, neutral color of the custom-made furniture, walls and doors creates a visual link between the rooms.

The copper and wood textures, the subtle blue accents, the straight, minimalist lines of the furniture stylistically unify the space and create a harmonious interior.
