The concept revolved around creating a gallery-like experience that guided the visitors of the showroom from a space to another, in each one discovering new ways of using the products that the showroom showcases.
The lighting played an important role in creating the story that we wanted to tell, from linear lights creating frame-like effects at the entrance of each space, to various custom-made decorative lighting that complimented each room.
The space is divided in two areas, each occupying one floor. The ground floor is reserved for the commercial part of the space, where the visitors of the showroom go through thousands of material samples, they can play with them and combine them, as well as admire them in mockup rooms, designed in playful ways, and breakout space informal discussions.
The first floor is an event-oriented space – filled with meeting and conference rooms – as well as a fully functional kitchen and bar area – and our favorite part of the project – The Mood Labyrinth – a three-dimensional human scale moodboard , that playfully showcases the materials in abstract, Escher-esque forms.
